Products

Glad you asked! All of our ingredients are non-toxic, clean and made for sensitive skin in mind. That means no harmful ingredients are included in our good light world. These include parabens, BPAs, phthalates, mineral oils, oxybenzone, microbeads, mercury and a whole lot more.
Animals are our friends. We must protect them at all costs. Our products have no animal-derived ingredients or byproducts including musks, oils, fats, and we are proud to say we are Leaping Bunny certified.
Yes! All of our products are formulated to be w/out artificial or synthetic scents.
Our ingredients were chosen specifically for sensitive skin but we didn’t stop there. We sent all of our products for thorough testing at CPT Labs, the elite testing service that’s become an industry standard. Each of the vigorous trials were patch-tested in what’s called RIPT testing. Patches with our products were applied three times a week for nine applications on several people from different backgrounds and age groups. From a scale from 0 (no visible skin reaction) to 4 (severe), good light products tested at 0. The testing concluded that our products “indicated no potential for dermal irritation or allergic contact sensitization.
Our products do not include gluten or gluten-derived ingredients. We do use xanthan gum as a safe stabilizer in our We Come In Peace serum. It is not known to have any reaction with those who have Celiac or gluten sensitivities but certainly something to look out for. To be extra safe seek out medical professionals to ensure this is a product you can 100% use.
Yes! All of our products are sulfate free.
Thanks for asking because we’re excited to share. From the beginning of our brand we wanted to ensure that we source materials that have the opportunity of being recycled. While the manufacturing industries aren’t 100% there, we’re heartened to know there’s been a big priority when it comes to sustainability and packaging. Our products are sourced from glass, PP (polypropylene plastic), of MPP (elastomer + PP). Our serum pump is the first patented no metal spring pump that can be fully recycled without being broken down. We’ve also opted for soy printing whenever possible, which ensures that all printing on labels can also be recycled.
Good light products are suitable for all skin types.

Each batch of products has its own, unique expiration date. You can find these date stamped onto the bottom of your product's bottle and/or on the box packaging.
good light products contain preservative alternatives to parabens, for example, 1, 2-Hexanediol.

Because every pregnancy is different, we always recommend checking with your doctor. We do formulate some of our products with AHA’s and exfoliating acids that are typically not recommended to be used during pregnancy. You can find our full ingredient listings on our product pages if you’d like to share them with your doctor.
If you are unsure if good light products will pair well with your medication, please consult your doctor for advice.
Our cleanse, serum, and pimple patches are nut-free. The Moon Glow Milky Toning lotion does contain extract derived from Coconut, which can be an allergen for those who are sensitive to tree nuts.
Our products have been tested with makeup. A lot of makeup artists love using our We Come In Peace Microbiome Serum as a foundation primer!
Cleanser, toner, serum - all in that order! When applying the Luna Pimple Patches, ensure the affected area is cleaned and dry. Any product or excess oil may alter the adhesive ability of the patch.
The Moon Glow Milky Toning Lotion contains AHAs derived from fruits! Specifically, Apple Extract, AKA Mandelic Acid, is used as a gentle form of AHA that exfoliates away surface level dead skin cells.
Yes! The Moon Glow Milky Toning Lotion contins AHAs, a type of chemical exfoliant that remove surface level dead skin cells. The percentage of AHAs in the toner is very low, meaning it can be used on a daily basis.
The percentage of AHAs within our toner is very low and our AHAs are derived from fruit acids, making the formula compatible with Vitamin C.
This is a great idea! The Moon Glow Milky Toning Lotion is very lightweight - making it the perfect fit as a spray/mist on the face or body!
Aside from hydration, the Moon Glow Milky Toning Lotion balances the skin's pH and increases your skin's ability to absorb other product formulas.

A patch test is an easy process! Apply a small amount of product to a clean, dry patch of skin - we recommend using the inner part of your wrist! Let the product sit for 24 hours and if no allergic reaction has developed, you are good to begin using the product.
It sure can! The We Come In Peace Microbiome Serum can also be layered multiple times to achieve extra moisture due to its lightweight formulation.
We actually recommend that you do! It is super simple - just apply a thin layer of product to the face, wait 5 minutes, and wash off the product to reveal smooth and clean skin.
The Cosmic Dew Water Cleanser is able to remove makeup and waterproof makeup without any preparation before hand. You can 100% double cleanse with this cleanser, but it is not required!
For sure! In order to achieve the best results, we recommend leaving our patches on for at least 6 hours, so sleeping with your patches on is an easy way to hit this mark.
The Luna Pimple Patches are made out of translucent hydrocolloid that is almost completely invisible to the eye.
Due to the low concentration of AHAs present and being naturally derived from fruit acids, you can use our toner alongside other exfoliating products. If you are concerned, consult your dermatologist for further information.
Good light products are best stored in a room temperature environment with minimal sunlight exposure.
All of our products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind. This means that we did extensive studies so that our entire lineup is dermatologist tested, non-irritating, and for all skin types. The result is a best-in-class line up of products rigorously tested on patch tests on human skin. Out of dozens of folx we tested 0% had a bad reaction. The term “non-comedogenic” may be a marketing tactic but it doesn’t guarantee products won’t clog pores. In fact, it’s perhaps impossible to guarantee such a thing unless you’re under the monitor of a dermatologist for 24-hours, 7 days a week. While our toner does contain few ingredients that are classified as “comedogenic” they are completely non-irritating, non-sensitizing, and barrier supporting products. We even have the results to prove it! I hope this helps you to make a decision on our products. And of course, if it doesn’t work, there’s a 30-day refund.
If your beard is short in length and/or very close to the skin, using our cleanser over the area is no problem at all! If your beard is longer and it is hard to make out the skin underneath, our cleanser may not be able to properly reach the skin and deliver on its effects. If you do end up shaving your beard, our cleanser does work as a great post shave wash!
All of our products are suitable for the eye area! If you are looking for a more targeted treatment, we recommend using our New Moon Balm as an eye cream. This will help to moisturize and reduce the appearance of dark spots.
A dime size amount of each product is perfect for each use. With regard to our toner, 3-4 shakes into the palm of your hand will work for the skin.
SPF should always be applied last in a skincare routine! Regardless of the product you applied last, SPF should always be the final application on top of your entire routine.

Free standard shipping will be offered on all orders $50 and over within the United States. For orders under $50 or International addresses, we offer a number of shipping options (ground and express) at standard rates.

good light has a 30-day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a refund. To be eligible for a refund, you will need your order number or proof of purchase. To start a refund, please email us at hello@goodlight.world. Items cannot be accepted in our warehouse without first requesting a return, and we cannot accept returns on gift cards or sale items.
We do not offer exchanges, but you can return your unopened product within 30 days of purchase! Please see more details on the question above.

Most orders ship within 5–7 business days. If not, your order will get to you even sooner!
International orders take between 2-3 days for fulfillment, and 5-7 business days for the courier to deliver. Please note, exact delivery dates cannot be shared for international shipment due to customs and other foreign procedures that delay the delivery process.

We have a 21-day exchange or refund policy, which means you have 21 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or refund. Good light creates highly efficacious, yet gentle personal care products that are for all people regardless of your gender identity or sexuality. These products were formulated for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin, and we truly think they do the most. Our cleanser, for instance, can be used as a moisture mask – it contains beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid, seaweed, and more – to ensure your skin is always supple and hydrated. Our toning lotion can be used to gently slough away dead skin cells, nourish the skin, and allow it to soak in that delicious moisture. Our serum will help with skin cell turnover thanks to bakuchiol (a plant-based retinol alternative!).
